Vinoteca Mi Tierra is located at the entrance to the old town, just a two-minute walk from the railway station and five minutes from the lakeside promenade.
The location is easy to reach by public transport or by car. Our tango lessons take place at the back of the Argentinian vinoteca, where we feel like we are in an authentic Buenos Aires restaurant.

While travelling over the weekend, I decided to go dancing — tango, of course. I searched online for local milongas and found one taking place at a nearby hotel. As I drove up to the hotel entrance, I noticed a beautiful outdoor dance floor and a bar in the garden, where many elegantly dressed people were gathered. I walked straight from the car to the bar, where a woman immediately started talking to me, and we went dancing. After a few steps, I realised she was a complete beginner in tango — but that was fine. Swica pays for your dance lessons

La Pantera Dance School Rapperswil is a member of the Swiss Dance Association (TVS) and thus on the list of recognized dance schools of the health insurance SWICA.

With additional insurance, SWICA pays generous annual contributions to dance courses and private lessons.

Maybe a change could even be worthwhile? If you are interested, we would be happy to put you in touch with our contact person at Swica, who will be happy to advise you in detail and without obligation.

Other health insurances also pay contributions to dance courses, please ask your insurer directly.

Does the dance school also offer private lessons or lessons for couples?

Of course.

Private lessons are best for intensive and accelerated learning. All our teachers are able to lead AND follow, because we are convinced that you can only learn the technique from someone who has mastered both roles. So you are in the right hands with us to improve your dancing skills on your own or as a couple.

We also offer individual speciality courses, for example if you want to learn an expressive wedding dance for your wedding.

All our teachers and teachers in training have different backgrounds and started tango for different reasons. However, we have all discovered a common passion: Tango!

We take special care to ensure that our teachers can teach both roles and work with the same structured and proven programme so that you get maximum benefit during the class. Switching from one teacher to another is possible at any time as we carefully monitor your progress.
